Congratulations! Well you’ve got at least one hit may there be many more. If you get attacked by the vicious liberals I’ll back you up as best I can. You look quite proper in the picture but also a little like Bill Moyers. Sorry about that.

Great pic. It’s funny, you look incredibly like my father here – face is different but everything else so similar, the dress, the expression, the “office”. One major difference…he sits in front of a crappy Windows device.🙂

Well said, big brother. I’d add that those of us who are old enough to know, Newt has already done much of what Conservatives, Libertarians, and Tea Party-types are calling for. As Speaker, he has balanced the budget, cut taxes and spending, reformed the welfare system to ‘workfare’ which reduced the numbers considered in poverty and receiving welfare. He was an insider, ie. experienced and knowledgeable about what needs to be fixed, but has been outside the beltway for years. He knows our history and the Constitution thoroughly. He’s not afraid to call Obama’s policies socialistic. Romney merely says Obama is for ‘big government.’ I’m tired of political correctness and yearn for some plain, honest, talk. He has repented of actual misdeeds and been reconciled. Perfection is hard to come by these days and most of his detractors should probably not be throwing stones. Many other claims against him were simply partisan attacks, outright lies and all charges against him, save one, were dismissed . As you suggest in your blog, his personality may not suit everyone, but he may well be ‘the man for this season.’

Dwight. Just got your blog and want to add some comments on the post-election results
and just vent.
First of all “the Masses are Asses.”
The biggest example of RACISM in our country is 95% of one race voting for a candidate on skin color, not competence or character [as MLK said] with the main
stream press not pointing this out.
Also the Democratic National Committe [DNC]voting God out of their platform before they voted Him back in.
The DNC adopting Margaret Snger’s abortion policies to eliminate the black race and apparently most of the blacks don’t care. The KKK could not be more pleased.
Then there is Hillary Clinton’s remarks about Bengazzi: “What difference does it make?”
Again who is looking into Obama’s trip to Pakistan while living in Indonesia. Did anyone ever ascertain what passport he used?
As to gun control-those who have guns are called citizens.
Those without guns are called subjects.
One has just precious seconds before the minutes it takes for police to arrive.

OK, this is not about something on your blog, but…
Do you know how hard it is to give something away? I have been trying to find a Sandy victim who needs a almost new GE Profile combo microwave/convection oven. We bought it to install in a wall, but found it is too big. It is also freestanding. The conv. part has never been used, & the MW only for warming coffee. Do you know anyone in dire straits who can use it (free)? They only need, of course, electricity. I would have emailed you, Dwight, but found I don’t have your email address. Please let me know. I will drive it half way or meet on the Parkway.
